Laser Beam and Its Efficiency in Cutting, Engraving and Plotting
A versatile process that forms specific controlled markings on surface of solid materials by dissipating the surface or cutting a sheet of metal accurately, where in a pointed laser beam is used to carry out the action is referred to as laser engraving or laser cutting. Laser engraving materials like solid metal materials are the targets that are more widely aimed to engrave personal items and implementing modern traceability in various types and sectors of production lines. Almost all laser cutting methods are based on the releasing impulsive spurts of energy at specific interludes. Each spurt contains energy that can reach a certain amount of peak power. Since laser etching requires less energy, the spurts are more distant from one another. The concept of this process is that when a laser beam hits the surface, the material converts the energy into heat, while the engraving material surface reflects most of the energy; it also absorbs and converts part of that energy into heat.
